Introduction: new here

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to start out by introducing myself. My name is Karmen and I have a

6 yr. old autistic daughter named Peri. She's an only child and truly the light

of my life. Besides the autism she has also been dx'd with an anxiety disorder,

which can be quite crippling and extreme for her at times. Currently we do

supplements and lots of treatments/therapie s, some with success, others

without. She attends a special ed. school where she has a one-on-one aide. In

the past we did gfcf diet, however she was not a responder, so we discontinued

that.

I am thrilled to find this group as I know very few people who have girls with

autism. I am hoping to be able to share and exchange knowledge and encouragement

with other parents of girls with autism.
