For those of us who would like to know as much about our illness, as any

doctor would know, here is a link to a current (7/18/06) Continuing Medical

Education course, entitled " Changing The Treatment Paradigm to Improve Fungal

Infection Outcomes " . Its in PDF format, that can be easily saved on your

computer, to be read, offline, just like the doctor's do. After reading it, you

can

even take an online CME exam, on the course material, and print yourself a

CME certificate, if you pass the test. So that, the next time a doctor says to

you: " what makes YOU such an expert, you can show him your course completion

certificate.

I'm sorry people are having trouble getting to the online course. I had put a

" correction " posting on the board, as soon as I saw the trouble. The problem was

that in order to see the course, you have to first go to a page that lets you

select the manner in which you want to see the course. Then, you have to select

" Download Monograph " , as the way you want to view the course. This selection

will automatically start downloading the Continuing Medical Education (CME)

course. This course contains EVERYTHING THE WELL-READ DOCTOR KNOWS ABOUT

MOLD-RELATED ILLNESS! Remember, the typical doctor does not know ANYTHING about

most of the treatment protocols discussed on this board. By your reading of this

CME course, you will, at least, establish a common data base with your doctor's

knowledge, from which point he might feel comfortable about exploring the

options discussed on this board. WITHOUT your knowing the information, in this

CME course, your doctor will assume that YOU ARE

NOT AWARE OF THE TRADITIONAL TREATMENT OPTIONS, and he will think that YOU are

just talking gibberish.

This course is written, for the most part, in PLAIN ENGLISH, and no special

knowledge of medical terminology is needed to understand most of it. By this

time, we should all own a good medical dictionary, or have access to an online

medical dictionary, to understand the ten percent of the course that might be

too technical.

You can download,and save, the 64 page course, on your computer. But, remember

to bookmark the course as a " favorite " , on your computer, if you intend to take

the test that will enable you to print out a course completion certificate with

your name on it, when you pass the test. Because, to take the test, you have to

go " online " again, at a future time, to the course itself, and then click on the

words: " I want to take the test " .

There is no request made, for your personal information, to take the course.

But, if you want to take the test, and have your real name appear on the " course

completion certificate " , you should enter your real name, to take the test. By

the way, you can take the test as many times as is necessary, until you pass it.

Remember, YOUR DOCTOR flunked many tests, before eventually passing them, in

order to become a doctor.

When you take THE TEST, they may ask for information from you, that you will

have to MAKE UP, if you are not a medical professional. Remember, it is NOT A

CRIME to lie about BEING a doctor, to take a test. It is ONLY a crime to tell

PATIENTS that you are a doctor, and counsel them with medical advice, or

treatment, based on that lie. When I am asked for my medical license number, and

the state that issued me that number, for the purpose of TAKING A CME EXAM, I

usually enter my driver's license number and the state that issued me that

license. It works like a charm. You wll not be asked for your address, because

nothing has to be mailed to you. You print out your course completion

certificate, with your name on it, directly from your computer, so make sure

your printer is working, because you can NOT save a record of passing the test,

to print out your certificate at a later date. Here is the link. Remember, this

Yes, its the same one. To get from THIS page, to the actual download of

the course, click on the line: " order/download clinicians companion

monograph " . This will take you to another page, where you have to click

on: " download monograph " . Please look at the NEW posting I made November

1, with detailed instructions on how to take the course completion

test, and get your certificate with your name on it. That posting is

not part of this chain of postings.

One important thing that I forgot to mention, in ALL of my postings, is
