Aflatoxin poisoning is a MAJOR health issue in eastern China, especially

Jiangsu province.

Ochratoxin A is also very well known in northern and eastern Europe, because

people eat foods that are contaminated with it, both grains, and also meat

from animals that were fed contaminated grain.

I would be extremely surprised if it did not occur in the US. The place to

find out would be PubMed, not the media.

A US-based company that does a lot of FOOD mycotoxin testing is Rorer Labs.

They do a mycotoxin screen for a wide range of well known mycotoxins for

around $200, I think.

From I have heard, aflatoxins and ochratoxins in indoor air are a growing

problem.. They are caused by many aspergillius/penicillium species.. (not

all of them, but many of them.. around half..)

And in addition to causing cancer, they can cause lots of other health

issues, including PERMANENTLY lowering important neurotransmitter levels,

(norepinephrine, dopamine, serotonin) which can cause ADD/ADHD and

depression.

I can dredge up the references on that.. I did a bunch of digging to find

them several months ago and have quite a few..

If you don't beleive me, ask the experts.. they will agree.. Permanent

neurotransmitter level issues..

The personal and monetary costs of treating ADHD/ADD and/or depression over

a lifetime are substantial..

Plus, the drugs that treat these illnesses destroy your sex life..
