Guest guest
This thought came up for me yesterday because I used to get INCREDIBLE aches and pains, especially in my lower back that have gone away since I moved out of the moldy apartment. They were so very bad that often I could not walk and had to use a broom, stick, anything just to support myself to go to the bathroom.. This would go on for days, sometimes and I would not be able to go to work. Sometimes I could sit in a chair but more often I would just have to lie in bed, in pain.. Advil, Aleve, Tylenol, aspirin, none would help appreciably. I thought that I was getting arthritis... I would make doctors appointments but by the time the appointment rolled around, the bout would usually be much improved.. only to come back again unexpectedly again later.. When we realized the mold was connected to my other health problems I also realized that this joint pain came and went with the mold.. It was so painful that I can't imagine anyone enduring this for years without suffering permanent joint or nerve damage.. Would doctors end up calling this arthritis, if the person was older? So, my question is does anyone think that toxic mold exposure drives some people's getting arthritis? And eventually, needing hip replacements- etc. (But that they don't know it, say if the mold is hidden inside of walls and doesn't smell much.. or even if it does..) Those hip replacements are a huge moneymaker for the medical industry..BTW..
