Can someone please help? I have been exposed to toxic mold (

stachybotrys) and I am so sick now that I can sense the spores a

mile away. I keep contaminating my new spaces with spores. I have

been on cms for a month now and I am using a antifungal(

variconazole) for my nose because my immune system is so low that I

have invaders ( Marcons). , you know what this is. I read your

story in Dr. Shoemakers book Mold Warriors. I love that book. It

has been the only thing that has answered some of my questions. I

recently did Shoemaker's bloodwork although I am not a patient of

his. I am waiting for the labwork to come back but it has been hell

in the meanwhile. I know that I must be really low in MHS to be so

sensitive. So my question is this... What is left for someone like

me? Do I just have to move to the country or desert with nothing

but the shirt on my back to find clean air? And if there is a way

to get mycotoxins off stuff ( clothes), how do I do it? Those

suckers are so strong I'm not having much luck. I have left the

mold house and am bouncing around to diffent peoples homes. I had

to get rid of my car because of the spores. I am so sensitive to it

that anytime I'm around anyone who has spores on them or near I get

coughing, burning eyes- asthma attacks. My immune system is bad to

begin with so now I am very concerned. This is the worst thing I

have ever experienced. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks--Shan

And I thought I was bad! I react only when I'm in the vicinity (like when I

enter a building

with a bad basement). However, I also react to sourdough or yeasted breads,

rolls,

whatever that are rising. That is one unpopular opinion - and it's really not

the smell that

bothers me, but just that my lungs tighten and hurt, same with rising bread as

in moist

bathrooms! It must be that yeast and molds are similar? Now how many people

hate the

smell of baking bread besides me!?

Anyways, it appears that former vegetarians seem to be most succeptible, or

those who

diet, or those who ate low-fat style for a while. I'd love to hear other

peoples observations

on the diet/allergy topic. I do seem to handle reactions better after eating a

good filling

meal, with plenty of fat in it, and I'm not talking liquid vegetable oils, but

good solid lard,

beef fat, coconut oil, eggs, whatever. Cheese unfortunately doesn't seem to

make a meal

solid enough all the time, I need some meat once every day or so. I'm maybe 130

- 135

lbs, and not physically real active, so I don't need a lot to satisfy me (1/3

maybe of a good

rare steak is enough, and the rest gets eaten by every one else!).

Another observation is that certain natural smells actually open up my lungs, a

neighbor's

secret horse hoof creme opens them right up, but other essential oil blends have

done

that, too. I don't know what was the ingredient that actually did it, but I

should look into

it. Or maybe just convince the neighbors to sell me some creme, even though I

don't have

any horses!

If desperate, you could try acupunture or sauna, at least neither would have any

effects

like all the drugs that are tried!

Good Luck! J
