Guest guest
I am very happy to hear that Canada is being pro-active where both is concerned. I read that radon is the #1 cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. When we were testing air quality before leasing our condo. after losing our home to mold, our condo. radon level came up as 18 (very high and dangerous) this of course was mitigated and we could not move in for awhile after. The company also installed an " air pusher " to the HVAC to keep the radon level at a 2 or lower. Unfortunately for this to work, it allows outdoor air in (we have to keep the HVAC set at 75- 76). I have noticed this is causing a slight odor which makes me believe there is now a mold problem- which I have an HVAC company coming to check out this coming wk. Does anyone have any experience with this or know about " air pushers " and whether they can create more of a problem ? Also, has anyone heard of coccidioidomycosis (from airborn spores of C immitis) ?? Thanks,
