Guest guest
National Allergy Supply sells a selection. AFter you get the names and plug them into search engine, there are comparisons. I have the Austin, which is popular, and I am happy with it so far. Below is a post from Carl about how to rate an air purifier that I have copied: ### AHAM (Association of Home Applicance Manufacturers) developed CADR in the 1980's for HOME PORTABLE air purifiers only. The Bio-Circ products from Circul-Aire you asked about are not home units. They are designed for institutional, commercial and industrial applications. They are also BIG. The smaller ones are about the size of a refrigerator and the largest is at least twice that size at 3' x 4' x 6'. That's BIG! And expensive. One final note, before all the ozone and UV Multi-Level Marketing people start harrassing KC: Yes, the Bio-Circ series uses both ozone and UV. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean the home units you sell are also just as effective and safe. These products are higher intensity and are completely self-contained within the unit so there is no exposure from ozone or UV light. Home units that are affordable cannot be built in an equivalent manner. A motor scooter has two wheels and a motor just like a motorcycle, a dirt bike or a Segway, but that doesn't mean they can all perform and be safe irregardless of where and how they are used. Guest guest
Now I reread your post and not sure if you are talking about air purifier or filter for central heating unit or what. However if you want a good dehumidifier, look at Thermastor products. They sell the Sante Fe adn Ultraire, which dehumidify and also have optional high efficiency filters on them and they are right at the price range you are speaking of. By filtering air that comes into dehumidifier, you are preventing mold growth in unit. You can also use them to filter and dry air coming in from outside with fresh air intake. --- mryan911 <mryan911@...> wrote: > I'm recovering from black mold exposure and > have moved into a new place with mostly > new belongings.
