Guest guest
It would help to know what state you are in, this way we could recommend a doctor that may be close to you. Guest guest
This sounds like it could be a chronic infection, maybe something activated when your systems were stressed by the toxic mold. For diagnosis, maybe a rheumatologist or immunologist if you use conventional medicine. Alternative health practitioners would probably want to test you for Lyme Disease. Also, the mold event may have left you hypersensitive to mycotoxins in general. So strict mold avoidance, treatment for any candida type problem and treatment for digestive parasites might help. Again, alternative health practitioners are often open to these diagnosis and they have some good therapies. You could also pursue a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome with those symptoms, if it has gone on for more than 6 months and if you need a concrete diagnosis. But few regular doctors are savvy about CFS. However, there are many good CFS lists you could look at, maybe one could help. --Kurt On 10/10/06, blazes2003 <blazes2003@...> wrote: > > I am 21 years old and have been seriously ill since I went away to > college and lived in a dorm infested with black mold. Guest guest
I am very sorry to hear you are so young and dealing with this illness. Let the group know where you are. I hate to hear the young getting ill. My daughter is only 22 and some how she didn't get this like my husband and me. > > > > I am 21 years old and have been seriously ill since I went away to > > college and lived in a dorm infested with black mold.
