Guest guest
The numbers are not necessarily really bad, but so much depends on how they have been trending and the doc is the best person to know the answer to that. He may just want them repeated, but in any case, my docs would call me if their was a major concern. Not sure what your experience is with your docs. You did not happen to have a couple of beers the night before the blood draw, did you. (just kidding of course.) My Rheumy did tell me that some of her patients who have her labs done on days after a big football game show their liver enzymes elevated. Fuzzy > > Hi Everyone,I have a question for anyone who is a nurse or knows what the numbers mean.My Dr. is not reachable until at the earliest Friday. The woman who answers the phone at the office did give me the results of my latest blood test. She said my ALT is 74,and normal is 8- 37.My AST is 64 and normal is 19-45. I haven't had my Mtx for 4 weeks and now with a cold it's beeen 2 weeks for my enbrel.I sure hope history doesn't repeat itself and I flare.Anyway.if anyone knows what those letters mean please let me know. > love Elly > > > > >
