Hi ,

I'm not sure how old your child is, but Max (12 months at the time)

was out of his brace last summer for 3 weeks before he was casted

because we had transitioned from UW Madison Children's Hospital to

Shriner's Chicago with Dr. Sturm. At the time, the cast was too

small for Max and instead of making him a new one for 3 weeks until

he was casted, he was without a brace. His curve did not worsen in

this time, it stayed the same. He adjusted great from a brace,

nothing for 3 weeks, and then a cast.

Honestly, I do not think Dr. Sturm would make any recommendation

that would cause any harm or long term effects to any child.

I look forward to meeting you in a few weeks!
