Dear Rosemary. If you have a bakery near you they have plastic buckets and

may sell them to you. I have one near me and he sells them for $1.00.

each. B.

Plastic Buckets

Dear List Buds,

Can someone direct me to a supplier that has one gallon plastic buckets

at a

good rate. I bought some years ago and can't remember where it was. I

remember I got them for $1.00 each, but I know that probably isn't

possible anymore.

They are wonderful for mixing the lye solution and breaking down big

containers of oil into something more manageable.

Thanks a bunch.

Wally World has a large assortment of buckets and lids. I buy 5 gal w/lids there

and also 87 oz buckets. Great prices, too.

**I got some big ones from a friend who worked at a nursing home. They

originally carried bleach and were to be chucked out, so I got them for

nothing.

Container and Packaging has them for about a dollar, but the stay dri lid is

another .50, plus shipping of course. I really love the bakery idea though and

it recycles at the same time you get a good bucket for a good price !!!
