Guest guest
This was on the Today Show. I'm not going to include all since some were obvious, however since guest suggested not to 'mask' odors with perfumes which don't really ELIMINATE them, I thought their suggestions were more going after the source, so: Sharper Image: Bad Air Sponge (I wonder if this is some sort of activated charcoal in canister), doubt it is worth the money they charge for things. White Vinegar: put bowl in room and leave it evaporate. I assume this is to vaporize in air and may therefore actually have a antiseptic action on air bacteria and mold, so interesting suggestion. I immediately put a glass container of it in my kitchen. It also said to speed up action for strong odors put on stove and boil vinegar in pan. Paper: for musty drawers and books. It said put newspaper in musty cabinent drawers and change it often until odor is gone. Maybe soaks up mycotoxins??? For books, put them in paper bags with newspaper, change newspaper often, etc. Odor Eliminator (I think they called it that): an enzymatic odor remover.
