OMG, Sherry, that is a frightening story. I'm glad

that your DH is on the mend. I hope that the tests

show that there wasn't any permanent damage from this!

Oh Sherry!!! I am SO sorry to hear this but also so thankful your husband is okay. How horribly terrifying! I have tears in my eyes as I type. My prayers are with him and you as he recovers.

OT I hate bees!!!!!

Speaking of insects, Thursday 5 min before I was going out the door to work I got a phone call from the ER, a nurse called me then told me to hold on, most agonizing 1 min of my life cause I could hear the trauma in the backround before the DR got on the phone to tell me my husband was brought in a half hr before with almost no pulse. He had been stung about 10 to 12 times by bees while he was working apparently he is VERY allergic and we did not know. Oh Sherry I am so glad your DH is going to be okay. Just make sure to get him several EpiPens to carry everywhere he goes in case he is stung again.

big hugs for you sherry. i am so happy he pulled through, but so sorry you had to watch this unfold. its scary that you might be allergic to something like bee stings but not know it until you actually have been stung, thankfully somebody responded quickly!!!kassia ldy_solana's domain Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don’t want to impress people they don’t like.-Will

OMG Sherry!I was going to make a joke that I love honey when I saw the subject line but, thank God your husband got medical attention in time, I hope there is no permanent damage from this experience.Hugs,

Speaking of insects, Thursday 5 min before I was going out the door

to work I got a phone call from the ER, a nurse called me then told

me to hold on, most agonizing 1 min of my life cause I could hear the

trauma in the backround before the DR got on the phone to tell me my

husband was brought in a half hr before with almost no pulse. He had

been stung about 10 to 12 times by bees while he was working

apparently he is VERY allergic and we did not know. They told me he

was in critical condition and being put on a vent so he would not

have to breathe on his own.

I rushed there to find my husband mostly sedated but still fighting

the vent which is a horific thing to watch. His head and neck were

twice their size and his eyes were swollen shut. Thankfully his blood

pressure was stablizing and they put him fully under to stop him from

fighting the vent. They told me they were going to move him to ICU

and keep him on the vent until the morning at least.

The next morning they woke him and removed the vent, another horrible

thing to watch but was not leaving him. They wanted him to stay until

tuesday but my husband has a very thick head and he checked himself

out on Sat. So he is home now but still a very sick guy who now needs

to go for a bunch of tests for his heart and others things that got

damaged by this near death experience. We are just so thankful he is

alive because the DR. said it was the worst case he had ever seen and

if his boss had not rushed him there then in one more min we would

have lost him. So needless to say I HATE BEES!!!

Thanks for listening and sorry it was so long....lol

Sherry,

Sorry, I'm late in replying, but I haven't checked my email in a while. How is your DH doing now? Much better I hope. My kids and I are allergic to bees, but we've never had that bad of a reaction. Be sure and get him an Epipen to have on hand in case he is ever stung again. It will counteract the allergen until he can get to the Dr. I'll keep you and your DH in my prayers.

Thanks Tonya, My husband is still not well and has not been cleared

back to work yet. He still has to go for more test on his heart and

his memory is still fuzzy and he gets confused easily. Hopefully he

will return to normal. Thank you for your prayers.
