Guest guest
Hello to you all and let me start with congratulations to everyone who has decided to take this challenge! I am lucky to be doing this with my husband. We are both in this to loose weight and learn to live better, for our children and for ourselves. I am on day 2 of week six and am feeling a little discouraged. I decided to come to you all for some advice and re-energizing. To my frustrations - I feel like I am doing things right, eating well, hitting my 10s and taking advantage of my off days to curb my cravings for those little powdered doughnuts but I am SEEING little change. I do, however, FEEL a change. I am stronger, tighter and I see new definition in my arms and legs but my problem area, my stomach, there just isn't much change. I also haven't lost a pound. So, like I said, I am looking for some advice, maybe there is someone out there that went through the same thing. I am starting to question everything, wondering if I am eating too much, too little or the wrong things. We have not been counting protein/carbs/fat just keeping in line with the portion sizes and eating the suggested foods and following only the approved recipes. I am hoping someone will tell me the same happened to them and to just keep at it – the paper towel theory is keeping me strong! Do you all know that theory? My husband and I joke that in just 12 weeks we should be tan and shiny (all the after pictures show everyone has become tan and shiny ; -) ) not to mention strong and healthy. I said a lot here and look forward to any info you may have to share! Thanks Maggie –
