No lazy, hazy summer for us! We've been busy with our usual tasks

such as:

Protecting your access to dietary supplements

Keeping members informed of current issued concerning health freedom

choices

As AAHF PAC, finishing the Congressional Scorecard for 2006

elections

Maintaining a dialogue with other like-minded organizations to work

as an empowered force towards keeping Capitol Hill, the government,

and others informed of the consumers' rights and concerns

Creating and working with our state chapters to change existing

state laws

In addition there are SIGNIFICANT and CRUCIAL strains on our limited

resources but these are so important that we must strive forward:

Rolling out the Umbrella Stand to protect and defend integrative

practitioners from over zealous licensing boards from prejudiced

prosecution.

Being a resource to families and individuals who are fighting the

authorities because of the treatment they have chosen. For every

Abraham Cherrix who receives media attention there are hundreds of

patients who need help in navigating the health freedom waters.

We receive calls from all over the country from people (including

the Cherrix family) that are being challenged by the medical

community and the state and local government and needing

assistance. Stories heard include:

Mother summoned to court because she and her son are suffering from

mold allergies. Conventional doctor does not believe in that

diagnosis and consider the mother mental unstable.

Woman in emergency room explaining about mercury poison from her

dental amalgams and her toxic state of health. ER doctor suggest a 3-

day stay on the physic ward.

Husband and wife questioned about praying for restoring their health

while waiting in the emergency room for husband to be seen about

heart condition.

Mother considered emotional unstable for stating to physician that

her daughter suffers from intestinal parasites.

Even doctors of environmental medicine are being investigated for

suggesting that a patient is suffering from mold allergies.

These are just a few of the calls that we have received this MONTH,

and there are many more.

We realize there are many organizations asking for your donations

but we cannot continue to help others without your help. If
