Guest guest
Well, I wanted to break in my new Cathe workouts that arrived yesterday! Woo Hoo. I wanted to try a shorter routine as I knew I was going to test drive the upper body work from Austin's Hit the Spot 10 Five Minute Target Toners. Well, I think 's upper body work was okay but she tries to get in too many different exercises in each 5 minute segment so you don't get many reps. My muscles didn't really get fatigued until I did the last segment. I did Chest Firmer, Back Sculpter, Shoulder Definer and Arm Shaper. Lots of nice exercises, just too many. And her back up exercises seem to have the same smirk that I have seen them have on her previous workouts. It's like they are saying I wish she would shut up about having sexy XXXX or you are going to have great cleavage! Honestly, I wish I could use the mute button on her. She also looks like she is in a perpetual state of amazement! I am sure she is a great person, but I just can't get into her workouts. As for the Cathe, I did the Lower Body Weights premix (31 minutes) from Kickbox/Bootcamp DVD. It was a nice mix of squats (wide and narrow) with lunges off the step, inner thigh squats using a 20lb weight, resistance band outer thigh work sitting on the step, high step training (you Firm lovers will like those), weighted outer thigh work using ankle weights (one leg pressing on step and other leg sweeps to one side), and last but not least lots (and I mean lots) of calf work. She did tons of reps with the feet facing foward, outward and inward. She did three cycles: one on the floor, one off the step and one using hand weights. My calves were on fire when I was done. I finished up using the core and stretch sections from the Kickboxing workout. I really liked that workout. Kathy
