Hi,

I was wondering if someone might had the same experence I am having

now. For a long time, approx 2 years, I have had pain in my right

side. I was told by the gyno that it is my appendix ( I thought it

was my ovary) and was refered to a gastrologist. The place the doc

says is my appendix and is very tender to the touch when I am

examed. The pain goes all the way up the right side and around to

the right side of my back. I had an ultra sound and a CT scan and

everything appears fine, even my appendix where the pain is most. I

am going for a colonoscopy and the kind of test where the doctor

runs a light down ones throat on Monday. I have a feeling the doc

will not find anything wrong, because they never find anything. I

am at wits end because this pain is very intense at times. It tends

to come and go but lately more often. Does anyone know what this

could possible be? Is there anything I can tell the doctor which

may help with a proper dignosis? This is really becoming quite

depressing because this is some serious pain! Any advice or help

will be greatly appriciated!

Thanks,

Jackie

PS

I have noticed in a search on this site there is much talk about

Milk Thistle...I have used milk thistle for a number of years now.

I have no idea if it has made the condition better or not but I am

sure it does not hurt to take it! However, I have been off of it

for a couple of weeks because the doctor does not want me on

anything until all of the testings are over with. I really don't see

a difference in the pain.
