Formaldehyde in homes

Hi,

I understand the EPA has set 1 ppm/part per million as the level which

is considered hazardous for concentrations of formaldehyde present in

the air. Would this mean that any measurement of formaldehyde which

measures in the ppm category (rather than being undetectable because

it is in the ppb category) is unsatisfactory for a residential

environment?
