I really think global warming is a factor in increasing problems with

mold in addition to things frequently discussed here with building

practices. This summer around my house, I have algae growing where I

have never seen it before in this 60 year old home. A friend of mine

has her parent's property that has a natural large pond. The pond

used to freeze over and we would go ice skating there. She has two

daughters and I asked were they enjoying the pond and she said no, it

doesn't freeze over anymore because there is too much algae. I went

outside today to get some sun and I noticed it actually smelled

stinky/ moldy OUTSIDE today. I came in. I just think it is a factor -

more humidity, more heat for longer periods. Add in sloppy building

practices, sprinkle some dry wall everywhere and you can see why

everyone is developing allergies and WORSE. I wonder when this

problem is going to come out of the 'closet'??

YES. I am noticing too this is a much more humid, moldy outside smelling

summer, and month actaully. I am staying in my fitlers much more than

last summer, and detecting trouble walking. I walk more in the winter in

my snowsuit than I have done this month. Will ahve to run up and down

stairs for my excersice this month.
