Guest guest
Let me try and explain some of the confusion here I believe that is taking place. posted " $100 is not too much to ensure that you're " homemade " mold remediation techniques was effective. " Nothing about testing for mycotoxins or body fluid. He is talking about products for remediation. From what I understand Dr.Croft, Dr.Rea and Dr.Hooper are all working in conjunction with each other. They are all well respected and have the science and research specificly for this type of mycotoxin testing. It is not $100. (I wish). What I am saying does not mean it is set in concrete, just like anyone else. If someone would like to check their website or make some phone call, it would be much appreciated because I do not have the time right now. I know mycotoxin testing is very expensive and I believe Immunoscience Lab also does it. The last I heard it is about $200. per toxin, but I could be wrong. NEVER $100. So yes, it can get quite expensive quickly. Instead of arguing what is or isn't, or what may or may not, somebody just pick up the phone. I have the utmost respect for all of these doctors and have spoken to everyone. Each is an expert in their own field. Again, from what I understand, the urine analysis and skin biopsy both run in the $300+ range. I don't have the exact amount per Croft. Both tests are ligit and if I had the funds I would have both of them done, (for my own sake.) There is enough confusion concerning this issue and many of us, if not all, have suffered dearly. So let's please work together and find a solution and be as accurate as possible with any information that is posted. So the $100. that was mentioned was for REMEDIATION. NOT HUMAN TESTING. The posts are below. KC Re: [] Re: urine mycotoxin tests -results?? Hmmmm. I have yet to see a mycotoxin test that is only $100... My neighbor spent upwards of $3K finding out which toxin killed her son. I've spent several hundred ruling things out but haven't yet found what I've got... ~Haley Salmon <airassault52001@...> wrote: Don't count on the insurance industry to take care of you, sometimes you have to come up with you own resources to protect your health. $100 is not too much to ensure that you're " homemade " mold remediation techniques was effective. Guest guest
I will try to do some of this research and give what information I find out. I will do what I can to help out here KC. I know as far as the skin biopsy goes I can say this. You must see at least one of these doctors or be very specific with the doctor doing the biopsy as far as what kind of test you want done. My visit with a dermatologist left me with ugly scars and a write up saying I had delusions of parasites. To beat all the results told me I do not have cancer. The cost of this nonsense was 195.00 for the office visit and another 95.00 for the lab test. I can only guess that the proper test would be much more. I have found that there is a specific skin test for aspergiliosis (I know I cannot spell) but I am not certain even this test is what most of us need done. http://adam.about.com/od/related6/ This is the web sight I read about this test on. As far as the rest, I will find out what I can and report back with my findings soon. Anyone let me know if there are specific questions anyone would like answers to while I am inquiring about any of this. If all else fails I am certain " WHO " has a link to the proper places to look.
