Interestingly enough the breathing got a bit better after only two days on it and at low levels. Am working up to a full dose. Does anybody have any info out there on effects of lung colonizaton?Doe mean I am scared out of my mind. Did that " flu " put me over the edge with my immune system so depressed? Was it blind luck they found a nodule so early?? Was it really a flu? Help. Angelika Angelika, Been there. Done that. No, it most likely was not flu. It probably occurred 10 to 14 days after an exposure to mold and it was the beginning of a colonization and your body trying to fight back. As far as the nodule, I had a slightly detectable same thing in the plueral lining of my lung. It was really tiny. They thought it might have even been a glitch in the film. But I knew it wasn't. The reason they did the CT in the first place was because I could feel there was something in my lung, exactly where it showed up. I was having back pain in that exact spot, but it felt like it was deep in my back, aka my lung. I can't tell you what to do, but I can tell you that I was on Sporonox for about 2.5 to 3 years. My lungs are fine. My health is pretty good. About 90%. Although I think I need to be doing some natural detoxifiers from here. If it were me in your shoes, I would drink lots of water. Get lots fresh air. Get some moderate exercise. Eat foods with no mold. Stay away from moldie environments. And keep taking the Sporonox for your HP. It can take awhile to come back. But if you catch it early enough, it is pretty much reversable. Sharon
