Guest guest
I had my first attack of Diverticulitis in 1990 or 1991, and have had a number of attacks since that time. I'm just thankful they have CAT Scans now, because back then I had to have a Lower GI (Barium enema) to find out what was going on in my abdomen. I didn't start with 'URI's " until after I moved into this mold-infested building in June 2001. I have Fusarium growing under 2 toe nails. Had to beg the doctor to send clippings to the lab, and when it came back Fusarium, she almost fell over. Said they never see that type of fungi growing under nails, it's always another type - don't remember the name of the other type. Took Lamisil, but it didn't clear it up. The fact that it was Fusarium didn't surprise me, because when I sent samples from my apt., and from other parts of the building, to a lab to be tested for mold, Fusarium was one of the molds that was present. Unfortunately, I live in Norristown, Pennsylvania. My neighbor and I joke about it all the time. We say that Norristown is like one of those big black holes out in space. If you get into one of them, you can never get out, and that's the way we feel.
