There are sooo many messages to read through on here I figured the

best way to find out is ask. Does anyone have enough knowledge or

know where to direct me to find out the likely cause of black/gray

soot coming from the air ducts at work? Some are coughing up black

stuff...run your hand across a desk and it's there...trust me, those

aren't the only things. But this is a good start. Can you help?

Minnie,

From personal experience Minnie this is the same thing that made my

wife very ill. No odor, just a black soot like dust coming from the

a/c. I would recommend having it tested, especially if you have

associates that are sick. Ours turned out to be mold and bacteria

growing in the a/c that was not properly maintained. I will provide

you with a website or two to where you can sample it yourself and

ship it off. The cost is very reasonable.

www.aerotechlabs.com

Go to either of these websites and they will explain to you how to

take samples and how to ship them.

Sneak preview the all-new .com. It's not radically different. Just

radically better.
