Our goal is to provide ALL children the chance to play recreational sports in a fun, relaxed environment, focusing on their abilities rather than disabilities. GAA offers 3 different types of leagues to accommodate the various levels of abilities and competitiveness of our players. 1) Anything Goes/Wheelchairs (no rules, FUN!) Every child hits and crosses home plate 1 hour game limit 2) Friendly Competition (basic fundamentals, outs, FUN!) 3 pitches then hit from tee, All out players will return to dug out, after three outs switch up sides, 60 to 90 min game limit depending on age. 3) Big Leagues (Real baseball, strike outs, FUN!) Strike outs, walks, 3 outs and change sides, 6 innings, max run rules, 90 min. game limit. All games are played at Bay Creek Park in Grayson on Friday or Saturday evenings. Spring season: March 11th to May 20th Fee: $45.00 covers complete uniform (Hat, Shirt, Pants and Socks) and Trophy Limited numbers of scholarships are available upon request. The league's focus is to give players a chance to SHINE among friends and family, have FUN, establish new FRIENDSHIPS, and enhance SELF-ESTEEM, by giving them the opportunity to concentrate on their abilities rather than their disability.
