Just had to add my " two cents " on those ridiculous advertisements for Advil,

Aleve, Tylenol.... " I don't have time for pain. " If you're only taking a few

of those per day.....I'm sorry they don't know reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal pain. We,

at this site, we know PAIN, and a few Advil pills doesn't get us dancing for

hours, etc. etc., but whatever! Not everyone can be as tough as us

I must add a few words about these commercials that tell a person suffering from arthritis that they can take their pain away with a simple over the counter drug. This I'm sure might work for those people with very mild arthritis that can normally manage their daily life but with a bit of swelling a stiffness. But what gets me is that these commercials make the public think that arthritis is no big deal and can be dealt with by such simple drugs. I find that they don't tell the whole truth and give people a way of thinking that arthritis is a no big deal type of disease. There are many of us out there that could not take one of their drugs and tell them that it worked, it just wouldn't happen. If you have minor aches and pains from the disease then yes perhaps it would help you but there are millions of us out there where it wouldn't do a darn thing to help us.

Just my 5 cents (worth about 1 cent in the U.S., lol)
