Guest guest
I believe it's up to the ARD committee. I've not seen a regulation. Transportation Services Hey guys...does anyone know if there is a law or regulation concerning Aides on Special Ed Transportation? Guest guest
I'm with Jeff! I would like to add that a para professional and aide are one in the same just a different name. There are step 1 aides through step 3 aides and that depends on your training. Also, emails are great, but sometimes the district never answers them so they same they never got them I would write a letter! One on One aides are the most restrictive unless we are talking about hospital placement. We should always try to educate the student in the lease restrictive environment first. What have they tried and why do they feel they need one on one? What is the educational need? --- Jeff & a Sell <jzsell@...> wrote: > Excellent advice, !! > Transportation > > Services > > > > > > Hey guys...does anyone know if there is a law or > > regulation concerning Aides > > on Special Ed Transportation? Guest guest
> and if I did not put him in school at age 3 and in intensive sensory integration therapy against his will --- he would not be the young boy he is today.....< Same here with Tristan. The public school is the last place I wanted Tristan to be. In Texas, when looking for services for our (then) 3 year old severely autistic 3 year old we were directed to the public school. The few private schools there are that can help our kids are to expensive for most of us to afford. We felt he needed the services they provided.
