I've been thinking about her, and I am glad they got her some pain relief. I wish her all the best during her recovery. I met Cookie the last time I was in Delano (Feb. 27). I'm so sorry to here she is still there. The day I was there, she had just been told about her complications. I'll keep her in my prayers. It did seem to help a lot once she got it though. I spoke to her a few minutes ago, and she sounds much better. Says Dr. K is very pleased with the results, but she still doesn't know if she still has a belly button or not. I guess it will continue to be a secret/surprise. I did notice her belly seemed very flat under the bandages. I with I didn't have to wait another six months for my tt, but maybe if I can continue to increase my exercises, I won't need one (I wish!). While I was there yesterday I met Cookie from Ukiah, who has been having some problems. I also met Jeff from San Obispo. He had a " partial DS " , only the stomach reduction, due to some issues with malabsorbtion. But he was looking good, and getting up and walking around like a good boy.
