grandfather died so please send up your prayers for all of his

children and grandchildren. I also have been going through the worst

You have all my thoughts and prayers. I can't wait to see you again

at the picnic and give you a biiiig hug. I'm so happy the Climara

helped. I'm about to go over my PCP's head (he doesn't want me on

Climara for some unknown reason.) and talk about Climara with my

Psychiatrist, who manages my depression meds.

Lara,

I am so sorry to hear about your depression!! I too have been getting on

the verge of clinical. My hormones and " stuff happening " have a lot to

do with mine... I really need to go to counseling as well, I know better

than not to, but it is really tough for me having a counseling

background!!!

I am glad that things are better for you and your medication is

helping!!!

Thanks a million!! My husband talks about his " grandaddy " everyday.

It means alot to him as well as his aunts and uncles etc. that

prayers are given to help them heal.

I have really missed talking to you. I hope all is well with you and

Cat. I will pray for you while you and all the other MGB'ers are on

planes. I am scared of them now. If I were you I would definetly go

over your PCP's head. I mean I printed out the report by Dr.

Rutledge and took it to mine and within five minutes the perscripton

was called in. I hope things get better for you in the mean time. I

know I will not recognize you so if you happen to see me please come

and speak to me. Everyone has lost so much weight I am not sure I

will recognize anyone except Dr. Rutledge of course. See you at the

picnic!!!!

Your dear friend will be in my prayers. So will you. You CANNOT feel bad at

yourself about this. Regardless of encouraging her to have the MGB, she made

the decision to have WLS. You didn't make that decision for her.

I hope your friend will be alright, I will keep her in my thoughts and

prayers, please do not feel responsible, everyone knows there are risks

involved in anything we do, thank God we choose MGB and DrR. he is the

best. And if anyone should choose to do this why not go with the best, after

all it is your life and he started this, but now it is too late for your

friend to change what she did , hope our prayers will help her.

Zoey, I just said a prayer for your friend. Don't feel guilty. We all know

that things happen sometimes with ANY surgery, especially where obese people

are concerned. We will all pray that your friend will make a complete recovery

and be able to reclaim her life like so many of us have.

Hello Group, I have a request please, a dear friend of mine had WLS

there are thrpye of shunts the ones for heart and one used for vin but the

shunt i have is a tube that allows fluid to go from my brain to stoach where

it can exit safly instead of the fluid squeezeing my brain so much it kills

me basilay a shunt is a tube use to release pressure off my brain from

haveing to muh fluid

Turk... a shunt is a " tube " placed to drain fluid from one part of

the body to another... in this case is sounds to me as if Stacie

needs to have fluid drained from brain and, as I understand from past

experiences, this is usually drained to the stomach... I hope that's

the correct answer to your ? ... if not, please, someone explain

better.
