Guest guest Posted March 4, 2004 Report Share Posted March 4, 2004 Well, Dr. K comes in and says... " Cool! IT looks good! " I look at him, wondering if he's on drugs. I tell him where I hurt and he starts poking and proding, grabs a needle and says, " Little stick " . OUCH!!!!! He then starts looking for a basin and can't find one. Leave the needle in my stomach and says, " don't move you have a needle in your stomach " opens the door, calls for help and a basin, finishes draining out my stomach and gives me another prescription for Keflex. I will see him again in 10 days. I feel so much better, having what seems to be a small syringe full of fluid removed from my tummy. But...my nausea went away almost immediately! I was able to go over bumps in the road again without going, " Crap! " or " Ouch! " He said, warm compresses and Keflex. So, I feel better, though a little tired since I didn't sleep much last night. Thank you to all those who have written in and send prayers and hugs..... I haven't read much of my 165 e-mails (I'm on and own several lists at groups!), so when I'm not so tired I will read them, I promise! Today is my middle daughter's 13th birthday. It is tradition in my family, that a girl, once she turns 13 receives a pearl ring for her birthday. Kymberly received hers this morning, and she's beaming!! It's a white gold, white pearl, 2 sapphire, 4 diamond chips ring... beautiful and it looks like her! So, tonight we're going to Mc's for her " birthday " and tomorrow she's having a friend and a " party " with a movie, sleep-over & Home Town Buffet! She's not spoiled....honest! OK, off to the heating pad and a nap! Melisa S.
