Laurie - I was 65 when I investigated and paid for a visit to Dr K. He

told me there is an unstated cut-off for the DS, but that in my case, he

wouldn't hesitate. I had to wait a year before I could cough up the $$,

but it was well worth the wait.

I was 66 in March 2003 and weighed 268, and had gained 20 lbs since he

saw me. My surgery was completely uneventful. I had a normal, boring,

beautiful recovery.

Just last Friday I had the excess fat removed from my upper arms and had

a breast lift. I am not the least bit uncomfortable today. In fact I

look forward to having my hernia (which is painless) removed and a tt in

March.

Nothing is impossible if a mom wants it bad enough!

Bobbe - <101.5 pounds> If you can dream it... you can do it!

God, give me the dream that you planned for my life. (Don't postpone

joy.)
