Guest guest
Hi , We are using biomedical interventions with our son. I can't claim that I understand them all, but there is a website that you can join and get a lot of information from parents who are using biomed interventions. To join, your son has to be under the care of a DAN doctor, which he is. it is chelatingkids2/ Also, you might want to get a copy of Dr. MCandless book " children with starving brains " " 2nd edition " / She also has website and a group. http://www.autism-rxguidebook.com/forums/ As far as the supplements, you should start with thing at a time with a fraction of the dosage and slowly increase to full dosage. You might want to ask Dr. Rao the order of supplements to start, but remember one thing the doctors themselves are learning themselves as well. Educate yourself as much as you can. Guest guest
I am not sure whether he is or not, but he uses the DAN protocol or at least biomedical interventions. Guest guest
My son sees Dr. Rao also. After his first visit we started 4 things and had positive results. After the second visit we started a ton more stuff and my son vomitted for 4 days. He also has reflux for which he takes Prilosec so sometimes the continuation of vomiting can be related to the reflux. We stopped everything new and started back slowly, one at a time, as per Dr. Rao's advice. It has taken a month to get everything started and we still have one thing left to include. We are taking many of the same things you have mentioned. Beth Starting on supplements - Need advice. > After getting all of our test results back from the Great Plains > Lab., we visited with Dr. Rao in Carrollton, this morning. > Towards the end of our session, when we were discussing the > plan > of action, he started to get a bit rushed, and didn't spend > enough time explaining why we were doing what we were doing. > > Test results showed that our son has a high copper-to-zinc ratio, > though his zinc serum levels aren't especially low.
