Hi :

I saw that shameful cartoon yesterday. Best advice is to flood the

cartoonist, Ted Rall, the editor of the Post and advertisers with your

thoughts as to this cartoon.

a and I still can't figure out the point of the cartoon--any ideas

on what the h_ll the point was?

Isn't this how the Nazis started? Printing comics that made the Jews look

like vermin? They also did the same with the " retarded " . Take a look at

this Texans and let them hear from you. Jeff, is there anything that can be

done to the Washington Post for printing this, besides getting complaints?

I was tempted not to view the cartoon because I didn't wanted to be upset.

But it is worse than I imagined and we have to do something about it or this

The cartoon was done by Ted Rall, a syndiated idiot boy. It was published

in the Washington Post a few days ago, and a few other papers. He can be

Ted's Email Guidelines

I value feedback and enjoy hearing from readers. Before you use your

valuable time writing me an email, however, please note the following:

1. Like everyone else, I only have so many hours in the day to answer email.

While I would prefer to respond personally and quickly to every email I

receive, the increasing volume of correspondence does not make this

possible. Therefore, I do not respond to threatening, obscene or completely

negative (i.e., nothing but criticism) emails. This permits me to spend more

time doing something constructive, like corresponding with people who

understand and appreciate what I do.

2. Emails that contain threats will be reported to the appropriate law

enforcement agencies as well as your Internet provider.

3. I will not respond to requests for citations, links to news articles,

quotes or other information that is widely available on the Internet,

television or your local library. Please do your own research.

4. If you send email with attachments and I don't know you, I'll delete your

email unread and unopened. Sorry. Viruses and all that.

5. Like members of Congress, I don't respond to " form emails " that are

clearly generated from the same source. If you can't think of an original

way to express yourself, don't expect a response.

6. I reserve the right to publish your email in full or excerpted in any

form I deem appropriate--so don't send anything you wouldn't want your mom

to see in print.

7. Still here? Great! I look forward to hearing from you.

Not that it matters, but I can't see the point either... Even when I

I sent him one a few hours ago and so far it hasn't come back. Perhaps he's

been inundated with emails and now they're bouncing? One can hope that this is

the reason....if only he'll learn SOMETHING from his error.
