The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (The ABLLS) Training

for Autism Academy I & II

9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

" There is no fee for this session for persons associated with Region 10.

However, effective September 20, 2004, Out-of-Region participants will be

charged $60 per day for this event and wait-listed until two weeks prior to

this session. Persons outside of Region 10 must call Professional

Development at 972-348-1578 or 972-348-1620 to be placed on the waiting

list. This session will introduce the participants to the ABLLS Curriculum

which is a method to teach communication skills to students with autism. The

session will provide practical strategies on the implementation of this

method in the classroom setting. "
