Guest guest
Hi Jahjet and EveryOne, The Kombucha Drops that I make: " Kombucha Manna Drops " , are made from the Kombucha colony only not from Kombucha tea. That way of making Kombucha Drops is recommended for Diabetics in several books on Kombucha. Of course they are of benefit to everyone else as well:-)) Not all Kombucha drops are the same so I only speak about the ones I make. Other people do it differently and therefore have different results. Are you asking if they have no caffeine? I don't know as it has never been tested but since you use only 15 drops at at time, and since they are made from the Kombucha Colony and not the tea, it would seem reasonable that the amount of caffeine, if any, would be very tiny. Guest guest
Thanks, Ill definitely check it out (the files for Diabetes thread) Maybe youll think im nuts or something but I actually like the taste of SCOBY! I must say though it was weird at first thinking to myself. gosh Im eating LIVE bacterias!! But its pretty good really!!! nn From: kombucha tea [mailto:kombucha tea ] On Behalf Of yoganandaom Sent: Friday, February 26, 2010 7:56 AM kombucha tea Subject: Sugar in KT Hi nn and EveryOne, Most of the sugar is gone after fermenting for 17 days. However the KT will be like vinegar at that point most of the time. Some people with Diabetes can drink KT fermented the usual amount of time but some cannot and need to let it go longer. Some people use the Kombucha Drops as they do not contain sugar as long as they are made from the Kombucha Colony and not from the Kombucha tea. You will find what works the best for you with a little trial and error. There is a Kombucha Thread about Diabetes in the FILES section of the list homepage in a folder called Kombucha threads. Have a look, it was compiled by Bob a former list owner who was also Diabetic. He said Kombucha helped him a lot! Guest guest
Hi nn and EveryOne, Yes, I agree, I like KT too and drink it every day along with the Kombucha Manna Drops and the Manna Green and White Tea Extract I make and use myself. Most people with Diabetes find a way to drink Kombucha tea and I hope you will too. Peace, Love and Harmony, Bev > > > > > > > > > > Has anyone tried to brew with de-caffeinated tea?
