I have mine sit for 2 weeks. Its very tart at that point, I really

like it tart and tend to be able to change it out before it gets that

smell. But I do add some water to it to tone the tart a little, even

add different stevia flavors to change it up. I don't drink wine so

for me its that thing with a kick I look for at night. If it was less

tart to begin with it just wouldn't be the same for me.

Amen to that Laurie! Couldn't agree more. We are big fans of the

Weston A Price Foundation and Nourishing Traditions. We make close to

8 gallons of KT a week and about 2 gallons of milk kefir a day. BTW,

we have plenty of kefir grains if anybody needs some.

Have a great evening,

I was just going to suggest the same.... www.westonaprice.org and

www.thehealthyhomeeconomist.com

for lots of information against soy and other things. (They do LOVE

Kefir and Kombucha, by the way)

another good resource is the book " Nourishing Traditions "

O. T. Can one get too much soy?

Dear Ones,

Dr. Sanja Gupta says one can. He says soy has omega-6's. Fish oil,

mussel oil, and flaxseed oil have omega'3's.

The two have to be balanced. If one gets too much omega-6's, he says

that it makes one depressed.

I like soy but feel worse the longer I drink it. Perhaps because it

has more purines than meat.

I have been taking Omega ZL, but stopped, because I thought it made my

gout worse.

Blessings on you all. LOve. MArge.
