Honestly, I don't know how to describe the feeling......

amazed, amused, sexy, shocked, thrilled, confused, all rolled into

one! It is one hell of an adjustment!

I look in the mirror and I see this skinny person looking at me and I

just don't know yet who she is! I know she has my silly, naughty, and

raunchy sense of humor and is even more of an exhibitionist than I

was before the ds!

It is so strange to slip into a pair of size 6 jeans instead of 26

and have them zip right up and then have my kids tell me how awesome

I look! And seeing people I havn't seen in a year or more is always a

shock! Between my short hair (I have always had close to waist length

hair) and the weight loss, even my own family didn't recognize me at

my stepmom's memorial service!

It is weird how differently people treat me now.....but amazingly, I

got more male attention and flirting when I was heavy then now! We

hang out with a fat-friendly crowd and I am now the littlest woman in

the bunch, the others are anywhere from size 28 to 14/16 but none

even come close to my size, and their men just adore them! I am kinda

treated strangly by some of the women who can't seem to understand

that I KNOW what it is like to be heavy.....they forget that I was

for most of my life! So it is really strange.....but worth it!

I think it is like a dream, I wake up and wonder sometimes how long

this will last, and it still makes me afraid to get rid of ALL my fat

clothes....something in my head tells me this is all too good to be

true and I will need them again someday! But Dr Z assures me that

won't happen......so I am trying my best to finally let go of the

last of my 10's and 12's....

Believe it or not, I still have a box with several of my favorite

outfits in 22/24, 18/20, 14/16 as well as 10/12's! That's how

paranoid I am about waking up and finding out this is all a dream!
