Guest guest
I use phenagren for my nausea medicine. It works pretty well for me. I take 25 mg at 2 hr intervals until it's under control. Lorie in Seattle
Guest guest
Lorie's reply to my headache question made me think of this as well. As far as nausea meds go, I've been out of luck. I am very allergic to Compazine and cannot take it or any drug "related" to it (anything ending in "zine"). I can use dramamine or benadryl but they have little effect. Anyone know of other drugs used to treat nausea?? Trish in PA
Guest guest
Hi Trish, This is Dave. I'm a stilligan I'm curently taking Zofran for my severe nausea. It's a drug they give to chemo therapy pts. It's doing wonders for me it's taking away all my nausea. I'm nauseaus every day. It's an very expensive drug and the doctor has to write MEDICALLY NESSASARY!! Try that maybe you can get that. Take care. Feel better soon. Have a PAIN FREE DAY All my best Dave,
Guest guest
Caroline & others who answered my question :-) Thanks for the info. I will ask my doc about the Zofran, the generic name for this is ondansentron, so maybe I could take it. Unfortnately, it looks like Phenergan is related to compazine (generic name is promethazine). At least there is one drug out there I could possibly use! Thanks, Trish in PA Re: Nausea Meds Phenergan, Zofran and something with 'lef" in it. Don't know if they still use Bendectin but that worked wonders on severe pregnancy nausea. Hope this helps. Smiles, Caroline
