I am sorry because I know you're enjoying that magical word....REMISSION!! Maybe it'll be a short term thing - let's hope so. Why is your heart beating too fast or is it too early to know that? Guest guest
Don't panic, Melt. I had to take medication as my heart was racing and after about 4/5 months, I'm off the pills and pretty well back to normal. Hopefully the other tests will find out WHY your heart is doing this, and then that can be treated. My doc said this often had no explanation and could go as quickly as it came. I hope this is the case with you! Guest guest
No clues yes to any of those questions. That is why I don't like it the way they are doing it but I guess maybe he wants to see if there are results by the time I see him in two weeks? maybe. Thanks to you and Caroline for your thoughts. melt ----- Original Message ----- From: " Todd " > Ugh!!!! What are the side effects of Lamoxin or do you not know yet? I've had testing on my heart and neck checking for nerve damage and to see if anything with my heart was causing the dizzy spells. The spells are much better but they did the tests anyway. I am a bit, well a lot, bummed to say that after wearing the halter monitor for the heart my doctors nurse called and said I have to start a medication called Lamoxin because my heart is beating too fast. I wanted less medicine!!! And I was hoping the doctor would wait until all the tests were done before going into another medication. And I am unsure because he hasn't seen me for my follow up yet (that is in two weeks) so I don't get to ask the why fors about this. I am to have a treadmill in two weeks and then all my tests will be done. Thanks for listening. I just wanted to get my worries out and let some know what is going on.
