Guest guest
Just to recap- on our last infusion there were a couple of white flecks in J's IgG. One looked like it might be a very small string of plastic from the spike used to remove it from the vial, but we were not sure-especially with one other small white fleck we found upon closer inspection. The larger one doesn't really look like plastic-can't really tell what it is. I called Baxter & they got the lot numbers, etc from me. Baxter called back today. We are shipping everything back to them as is. When I originally called, I asked if they wanted me to keep it.and if so, keep it drawn up in the syringe or push it back in the vial, etc. I was told to leave it until I heard back. Because of HIPAA they have to email the forms to me and cannot ask for my address or any other personal details. We'll send it out UPS. If we hear anything else from them, we'll keep you posted. All the other vials we have are from the same lot number, and they seem to be fine. Baxter told me to notify the company that shipped the meds & when I did, they could care less about it. Even talked to a pharmacist who all but said, " Why are you calling me with this? " Peace be with you, " If you want to work for world peace, go home and love your families.
