Are you talking est like popular in the 70's est?? OMG. I thought that died a natural death years ago. It was created by an Encyclopedia Salesman in California (real shock about which state originated it). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erhard_Seminars_Training A big psych fad for awhile with little-to-no established clinical value.

Is any other parent here an est or forum graduate, with kids who've taken est or the forum?

Well I sure am Marilyn, and the thousands upon thousands of est and forum graduates whose lives were transformed, opened, blossomed from a 4-day experience that cost $250 would have something different to say about it. And actually there are scores of medical professionals who took the training with nothing but praise for it.

And that same encyclopaedia salesman, high school graduate, gives seminars at Harvard and all around the world.

And let me say it again: The est training transformed our daughter with autism at the age of 7 so that she began to speak clearly. It transformed me too as well as the 30 or so friends and family with whom we shared the training and they took it.

It doesn't make sense to knock something You haven't experienced, on someone else's opinion.

Again, we are all capable of so much more than we do, and often we don't even know it. The training/Forum gives You yourself anew, in a wonderful way, opening more love, intelligence ...

It just came to me to share that good.

Speak with Him Thou for He hearest.

Spirit with Spirit can speak.

Closer is Love than breathing,

Nearer than hands and feet.
