Guest guest
Hi all. I haven't posted in a while since nothing much new has happened other than 2 more doctors have said they can't help....so the new idea is to do a bronchoscopy on my son next week. We stopped the zithromax all summer and he still had problems with his respitory system and some colds about every 2 weeks. So anyways, my first question is does anyone have any ideas where they would want to put the IV on a 2 year old? I picked up a prescription for Emla generic brand (that the dr phoned in) but there were no instructions other than to apply 1 hour prior. I have a call into the dr office but no response yet. Overall, I feel pretty ok with the procedure (after lots of reading on the web) and we will be at the hospital overnight for a swallow test later in the day and then another sleep study...so if there are complications I know we should get the needed attention. But if anyone has any advice or possible questions I need to ask before/after the procedure, it would greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
