I have a friend who cleared who was on tx at the same time as me the last time - 1995 I think. Anywhoo, he had no side effects & I had 'em all (but had to work anyways). He credits the fact that he smokes at least three or four joints a day with the lack of sides & the clearing. I think it was just the luck of the draw & the fact that I'd had HCV since the late '60s & he caught it from me in the early '90s so he didn't have as much damage to his liver as I did, as a matter of fact he was testing normal across the board on all his LFTs(liver function tests). Him clearing wouldn't be a result of smoking pot.Sometimes I think this disease is far more complex then they realize and more sub genotypes then they are admitting.Could also be the luck of the draw.
