We have a great bunch of wacky crazy fun loving supportive people here in all stages from 1st dx'ed to post transplant also primary care givers friends and loved ones of people with HCV. We do have geno 2b's around here somewhere just keep on posting. Wow you lost 90lbs. Are you now about normal weight for your size and how was and did the vegan diet help you ?????? Yep we are a very friendly nosy supportive gang of HCV online friends. Over the years being online in support groups I have found that our personal experiences with HCV and sharing it has helped to support members a great deal and for them to also know and feel that they are not alone in all this and their symptoms are not all in their heads. Keep us posted and updated about you and when you start tx. We have members now on tx many success stories and yes also many non-responders to tx. Being a survivor is living well with our HCV in all stages clear or not. I'm a survivor with chronic HCV geno 1a for 31 years now failed responder twice to tx and 6 years from my transplant. I refuse to allow my HCV to rule or ruin my life. My HCV dug in very deep but I dug in deeper and in control of my happiness and my life. You have a she HCV - did you name her ???? Mind is a he Drago the Dragon. I even have a tat to proudly show him off. People tell me nice tat than it gives me an opening to explain about HCV how my tat was professional and clean and the risks and dangers of HCV. Please feel free to use and view our entire group site with files - links - polls - photos and group calendar. I have a photo of my dragon Drago tat in there somewhere and Dick has he's too. We also have group chat on messenger weekly every Thursday night with a reminder message sent to group. Best of luck to you and with tx. Take Care.
