Guest guest
Kit, , Sara, others, First, I'm SO impressed with your patience and information! I've subscribed to tons of listservs for all kinds of different topics, and I can tell you that on only my second day of this one, it far surpasses the others. Thank you a thousand times over! With that said, I'm going to pick your brain another time: it's in regards to meal-replacement bars. A few years ago when I was a college freshman, I was successful doing the Zone. I ALSO incorporated weight training (though not BFL method) into it, which I'm sure added to my success. Anyway, most Zone-hardcores swore by the Zone bars and pretty much said that nothing else would do (Balance bar, etc). So, you ask, how does this relate to BFL? Basically, I'm asking the same question, different program: can I sub bars? Even though I'm now in the real world and make money , I still try to be frugal. I have to admit: the 99-cent price tag on Balance bars is appealing versus $1.50 or sometimes more for an EAS bar. Have any of you BFL vets tried other bars and not found a HUGE impact on your system? I realize that for the most success on BFL, I should follow as much to a " T " as possible. But would it really set me back to use Balance bars or something else you recommend instead? Thanks for the inspiration. Because of this board, I actually want to stick with it! You guys rock!
