When I asked about it and damage to liver, he told me that given my labs (and the fact that i am on neupogen, procrit, and heaven knows what else) he believes it not only helps with the depression but also, the aches and pains. I just took shot #35, 14 more weeks to go. In the home stretch. Still taking those protease inhibitors, which make me so very nauseaus.. but still undetectable, so I am complying. I was on 1000 mg of ribivarin, but dr. schiff brought it down to 800 mg, about week 15. Now he wants me to up the dose again. so I did.. got the rash back, but I have creme for that.
