As my Papa used to say " God bless your little heart! "

I'm so proud of you for continuing to Bug the Doctors until you got

taken care of...Big HUG cuz I'm proud of you.

I hope your wound heals quickly.

Ok, now here is where I'm going to lay the law down...Pay attention

and take me seriously....you are not allowed anymore health

crisis....yep I decided you've used up your quota. So this is

it...just happy healing and wonderful weightloss from here on.

Wow! Quite an ordeal!! I'm glad they caught it. I've never heard of

anyone forming an abcess three months after surgery. Did they make

any comment on that? I too am planning on having a revision from RNY

to DS. I am currently scheduled for August 3. I had an open wound

when I had my RNY, so I know what you are going thru. Not a fun

thing to have to get use to. My grand canyon was 6 inches long, 3

inches wide and about 3 inches deep. It took 5 weeks to heal. Took

me about a week before I could even look at it. Had to have the

visiting nurse come in until then and then had to learn to do it

myself or I couldn't leave the house. I guess if you leave the

house, then insurance doesn't pay for home health care. I got thru

it and so will you. I hope it heals up nicely for you.

hi ,

I cried when I read your post.... I am so glad you are ok. I was

always frightened the ten months that my incision was open.. It never

became an emergency though thank God. I am persistent like you are

and believe me it pays off in the long run. Thank you Dr. Z for your

brilliance and to Dee once again for kindly looking after .

I have called the Dr.'s office so many times in the past, that I

nervously say my name in almost a whisper...but they are so sweet and

kind and treat me so well when I am there or on the phone. I am glad

they took care of you immediately.... time to heal..... speedy

recovery dear.

excitement, girl, we just can't take it! LOL)
