Guest guest
, Wow! Quite an ordeal!! I'm glad they caught it. I've never heard of anyone forming an abcess three months after surgery. Did they make any comment on that? I too am planning on having a revision from RNY to DS. I am currently scheduled for August 3. I had an open wound when I had my RNY, so I know what you are going thru. Not a fun thing to have to get use to. My grand canyon was 6 inches long, 3 inches wide and about 3 inches deep. It took 5 weeks to heal. Took me about a week before I could even look at it. Had to have the visiting nurse come in until then and then had to learn to do it myself or I couldn't leave the house. I guess if you leave the house, then insurance doesn't pay for home health care. I got thru it and so will you. I hope it heals up nicely for you. Guest guest
hi , I cried when I read your post.... I am so glad you are ok. I was always frightened the ten months that my incision was open.. It never became an emergency though thank God. I am persistent like you are and believe me it pays off in the long run. Thank you Dr. Z for your brilliance and to Dee once again for kindly looking after . I have called the Dr.'s office so many times in the past, that I nervously say my name in almost a whisper...but they are so sweet and kind and treat me so well when I am there or on the phone. I am glad they took care of you immediately.... time to heal..... speedy recovery dear. Kinsey Who will show her new belly button if any one wants to see.
