Guest guest
I bring my son to speech, physical therapy, riding therapy, taekwando, headstart, he is on meds and I am doing everything I can to help him physically. But I firmly believe that none of this is worth SQUAT if I don't teach him faith. Jodi p.s. Religion is what people do to impress God or whatever they chose to believe in. I believe that Christianity is God's way of reaching out to people. I am not a religious nut. I am a Christian fruitcake. Jodi
Guest guest
And by standing up for my beliefs I am teaching him to stand up for his whatever he choses to believe. He needs to have a backbone if he is going to make it in this world. Especially with AS and especially if he chooses to believe in God. Jodi - who grew up being bullied and only wish I would have had faith to make me strong. > > I bring my son to speech, physical therapy, riding therapy, taekwando, > headstart, he is on meds and I am doing everything I can to help him > physically. Guest guest
Jeff and Jodi, I do the same for my son. I try to give him the opportunity to choose Christ. It's a tough world even without AS. Man's natural state is against God, each of us wanting to do their own will. Some say love is the answer but even God can't help us by love. It's by the grace of God we escape from this, through faith in something only God could do. We can not only escape this burden but inherit the wealth God has to offer. That is a hard principal to understand without the spirit of God bringing understanding. I think people misunderstand Christianity thinking it is a religion. True, many have made a religion out of Christ but he is not that at all. He is the lamb of God. Love could not do the job, there had to be a reconciliation for the lust of man not only for the past but from now to eternity. I wanted to balance my life so I turned it over to the one who can tip the scales. There is no doubt in my mind (and heart) that God is the best supporter for any situation. > > > > I bring my son to speech, physical therapy, riding therapy, > taekwando, > > headstart, he is on meds and I am doing everything I can to help him > > physically.
