Jan:

I can't comment on the abx, but I wanted to tell you about a great product

for acne. I had battled acne all my life, even as an adult. Not horrible, cystic

acne, but enough that I always wanted to cover it up and put drying stuff on

all the time. I tried dozens of products, nothing helped, washing with

everything from expensive stuff to just plain soap.

Somehow I tried the face washing pop-up wipes from Biore. I have NO

Pimples!!! Maybe a few just before the period, which wouldn't be a problem for

your

son, obviously! I am thrilled after decades of pimples to be pimple-free. It has

to be Biore -- no other wipes work. I don't use any other product, just the

facial cleansing wipes.

Maybe try it?

(mom to , age 7, dairy intolerant-related GERD -- currently has

polysaccharide antibody def, previously had transient IgG, IgA, t-cell & other

defs... and also to Kate, age 3!, more dairy intolerant but very healthy!)

,

my daughter is sounds like you, just mild acne (sometimes I can't even see it -

but it bothers her!); she was on minocycline but the rheumo took her off as she

was concerned with might be compounding her joint pain. Anything topical she

had tried previously was too drying - are the Biore face washing wipes very

drying? If not, I definitely will try them for her!

Thanks,
