Guest guest
Lynn hon, I am so sorry for you. I can only imagine sweating that much for that long. When I had the fevers and sweats it was awful, but even then it wasn't nonstop. My heart goes out to you. ~~tricia~~ 2r1@... ***************************************************************************** ****** -- Sweating to death Hello all, I am about to go stark raving mad with this sweating. It won't stop. It has been nonstop for days now and I can't drink gatorade fast enough. I am soaking wet right now and it is pushing 80 and I refuse to turn on my a/c yet. I don't think I even have a fever today. It has been 98 to 99.1 since I started the prednisone. Frustrated as ever!! Guest guest
Hi Lynn: I also have been sweating a lot. Mostly at night though. I have to line my bed with several bath towels every night so as not to soak my mattress. My sleep T-shirt and top sheet are soaked every morning. I wake up with them melded to my body. I'm doing more laundry now than when my 2 girls were babies! Occasionally, I get a sweating " attack " during the day. Usually at the worst, possible moment. Like if I'm at work. It doesn't stop either. I can sympathize. Sometimes, complete relaxation makes it subside. Sit quietly somewhere and see if it'll pass. It's worked for me here and there. The a/c doesn't help me. In fact, I consider a/c my enemy. All it does is give me the chills. Then you put on a sweater, and you sweat again. There's no winning. Good luck! Guest guest
Best thang I found to help with the sweating is a FAN. I put a small fan on me desk at work, and turn on the celing fan over the bed, and I carry along a small fan to put on the night stand by the bed in motel rooms when I am on the road. That sure helps with the attack of the sweat monster. Dan BS
Guest guest
Thanks Dan, I have a nice oscillating fan on a stand. I blast it on me, I too find that the a/c just gives me the chills when I am all wet.
